Bauchi State's Commissioner for Natural Resources, Muhammed Maiwada Bello, has expressed optimism that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) will reclaim power from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
Bello in an interview with journalists asserted that PDP's history of leadership, positions it as the only party capable of mounting a serious challenge to the APC.
He said he was also confident that PDP would produce competent and experienced candidates who can defeat the ruling party.
Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, was highlighted by Bello as a key figure in PDP, citing his impressive track records in leading Bauchi State since 2019.
According to him, under Mohammed's leadership, Bauchi State has seen rapid development in areas like education, healthcare, infrastructure, and investment.
Bello praised Mohammed's visionary leadership, integrity, transparency, and commitment to accountability and good governance.
