The Bauchi State University now Sa'adu Zungur University SAZU, Gadau has raised an alarm over illegal admission letters issued to prospective students, saying the institution’s admission information would be made via its official website.

According to the Public Relations Officer, Auwal Hassan, the University has uncovered one of the fake admission letters issued to one Muhammad Aisha Yahaya, offering her admission to study Law.

In the admission letter, Aisha was asked to pay N50,000 for acceptance while the tuition fee was pegged at N321,000 per session. She was urged to process the admission and proceed to payment to qualify her for registration number.

“The University hereby disclaim any involvement in the issuance of this fake admission letter. Our admission processes are transparent, and all legitimate admission offers are communicated directly to applicants through the university's official website.

“The general public, particularly students and parents, are hereby advised to verify all admission offers through our official website,” he said.
