The Women for Women International (WfWI) funded initiative known as Community Peace Mediators (CPM) has resolved 22 in some selected communities of Bauchi State.
In the Miri Community of Bauchi Local Government and Kafin Madaki in Ganjuwa LGA, CPM has continued to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to promoting peace and resolving conflicts within their communities.
Sule Joseph, the Communication Officer of the initiative in Bauchi said that in the Miri community, the mediators resolved nine cases, with one case still under review.
Similarly, in Kafin Madaki, the mediators celebrated the resolution of 13 cases during the same period.
The statement further said that the achievements highlight the CPMs dedication to fostering harmony and addressing disputes effectively.
The Communication Officer, commended the peace builders for their dedication saying ,“Their efforts have significantly contributed to fostering a peaceful and cohesive community,”.
The CPM initiatives are being supported by Women for Women International, an organization dedicated to empowering communities and promoting sustainable peace.
