The 49th Annual National Maulud Anniversary commemorating the birth of Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass witnessed a massive turnout in Bauchi, as thousands of Muslim faithful gathered from Nigeria and across the globe, including participants from the United States, Egypt, and Morocco.
The spiritually significant event was hosted by Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi and featured prominent Islamic scholars and leaders. Sheikh Mahiy Nyass, addressing the gathering, urged Muslims to remain steadfast in their obedience to Allah and to respect and pray for their leaders, especially in challenging times.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State also participated, highlighting the importance of unity and prayer for leaders, particularly President Bola Tinubu, as he strives to implement citizen oriented policies.
Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru expressed gratitude to the state government and residents for their support, ensuring the peaceful and successful conduct of the week-long activities. He emphasized the Maulud’s role in fostering prayer, obedience, respect for leaders, and peaceful coexistence among Muslims.
The event underscored unity and spirituality, drawing Muslims from diverse regions to strengthen shared values and promote harmony.
