The Bauchi State Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Daily Post journalist, Mrs. Hafsat Adebayo.
In a condolence message, the Chairman of the Correspondents' Chapel, Mallam Ahmad Mohammed Saka, described Hafsat as a dedicated journalist, a passionate mother, and a brilliant reporter whose work touched countless lives.
“It is with profound sadness that we received the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague, Mrs. Hafsat Adebayo,” he said.
Ahmad added that “Hafsat was not just a colleague but a true professional, always committed to excellent journalism. Her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed.”
He then extended heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time, praying for strength and comfort for those she left behind.
“May Hafsat’s legacy continue to inspire and motivate us to uphold professionalism and strive for excellence in our field,” he added.
The Correspondents’ Chapel joins the other journalists in mourning the loss of a remarkable reporter whose impact will never be forgotten.
