About Us CORRESPONDENTS’ WATCH is an independent media outfit established in February 2021 as a magazine publication. It launched an online version on the 18th April 2024. Correspondents’ Watch holds no allegiance to any political party, tribe, ethnicity or region. It is run by a group of journalists with decades of experience, and expertise and who work with high standards of ethical practice. CORRESPONDENTS’ WATCH upholds the canons of journalism. It believes in the rights of the public to know. We provide well-investigated and fair in-depth reports to our esteemed readers. Our editorial judgment is free from advertisers and other controls. The management of the media outfit consists of registered members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council. As a liberal outlet, we offer interesting stories on politics, economy, oil and gas, power, education, agriculture, business, tourism, transportation, entertainment, sports, security, and environmental issues, among others. The paper is currently edited by Rauf Oyewole, a member of the Correspondents’ Chapel, Bauchi.
